Living in Shanghai, during 2001-2005, where she joined her
husband, who served as the Consul General of Israel in Shanghai,
Einat's recent works combine her unique personal style with
a strong Shanghanese influence. For example, the red and gold
colors – which well represent old and new China - became
very prominent in Einat's work.
In summer 2005 Einat has returned to Israel and continue
to create at her studio in the small town of Pardesiya.
Einat’s paintings reflect various experience and scenes
- from the beauty of Jerusalem to the reflection of the sun
in Shanghai's shining skyscrapers.
Einat works mainly with acrylic colors, in different techniques,
which she mostly developed by herself, through the past years.
During the past year, some of Einat’s works were presented
in various international exhibitions:
- Two of Einat's works were presented at the "Spring
in the South of the Yangtze River" group exhibition,
presented at the Shanghai Library (Shanghai, PRC) on May
2005. One of the works, titled "Hope" received
a special award.
- Einat's 2nd solo exhibition - "Shanghai Emotions"
